We would like you to feel comfortable visiting our website. The protection of your private sphere is of utmost importance to us.

If you visit our website, information of general nature is collected automatically. This information includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system which is used, or the domain names of your internet service providers, the date and the length of time of your visit and the pages you visited.

Your personal details allow us to fulfil your individual requests for information. We would like to make you aware of the fact that, providing us with your personal details, you agree with their use, storage and processing in accordance with the German data protection regulations.

Any personal data provided by you may be used without your consent only for the purpose of processing your request and, if necessary, may be passed on to a company acting on behalf of Celesio AG in accordance with the provisions made in German data protection laws.

If you wish, your personal data can be transferred for the aforementioned purposes to the companies within the Celesio Group.

Cookies

This website collects visitor behavior data. This data is collected anonymously to be used for marketing and optimization purposes. All visitor data is saved using an anony mous user ID and can be aggregated to a usage profile. Cookies may be used to collect and save this data, but the data remains strictly anonymous. The cookie from a particular website helps the site to recognise your browser if you visit the site again. If you do not want cookies to be saved in your computer, it is possible to change the settings on your browser in such a way that it alerts you to cookies or declines them.

Social Plug-ins

On the Celesio website, so-called "social plug-ins" of the social networks AddThis, Facebook, Xing and Twitter (hereafter referred to as 'service providers') are used, which are operated by AddThis, 1595 Spring Hill Rd, Vienna, VA 22182, USA; Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA; Xing AG, Gänsemarkt 43, 20354 Hamburg, Germany and Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The social plug-ins can be identified by the logo of the respective social network.

To use a social plug-in, this has to be enabled by the visitors themselves before the social plug-in code is executed. As soon as you visit our website, your browser establishes a connection to the servers of the service providers by means of this social plug-in. Via these social plug-ins it is possible that information, which may also include personal data, is sent to the respective service provider and used by it. Since the social plug-ins are an offer of the service providers, Celesio AG has no influence on what information is collected by an activated social plug-in and to what extent this is used by the service provider. The contents of the respective social plug-in are transmitted by the service providers directly to your browser, which integrates this into the site being visiting.

Through the integration of the social plug-ins it is possible for the service providers to receive the information, amongst other things, that you have visited the respective page of our Internet site. If you are logged in at the same time to one of the social networks, the operator can assign the corresponding visits to your account with the social network concerned. Furthermore, if you interact with the social plug-ins, i.e. if you submit a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted to the respective social network. Furthermore, it is also possible that the service providers will attempt to store cookies on the computer being used. However, even if you are not a member of one of the above-mentioned social networks, it is possible that the service provider will obtain your IP address via the social plug-in and possibly store it. Details of the purpose and extent of the processing, collection and use of the data by the service providers and your rights in this respect and setting options can be found in the data protection information of the service providers (http://www.addthis.com/privacy; http://www.facebook.com/policy.php; http://www.xing.com/privacy; http://twitter.com/privacy).

Insofar as you are a member of one of the above-mentioned social networks and do not want a service provider to collect data about you via our website and link this to your membership data, please log out of the corresponding social network before visiting our website. Moreover, it is also possible to block social plug-ins with the help of add-ons for your browser.

Note on etracker

On the website of Celesio AG, etracker technology (www.etracker.com) is used to collect and store data for marketing and optimisation purposes. Under a pseudonym, this data can be used to create a user profile. For this, cookies can be used which enable the Internet browser to be recognised. Unless the individual concerned has given his or her express consent, the data collected using etracker technologies is not used to identify the visitor to this website personally, nor brought together with personal data relating to the bearer of the pseudonym. The collection and storage of data can be prevented at any time with future effect.

Protection

Celesio AG uses technical and organisational security measures in order to protect the data we manage against accidental or intentional manipulation, destruction or against access by unauthorised persons.

Right of access to personal data

Upon request, Celesio AG will inform you immediately, which personal data is stored by us as defined by German law. If, despite our efforts to ensure correct and up-to-date data, information is wrongly recorded, then we will immediately correct it as soon as you have provided us with the correct data.

Data protection with regard to e-recruiting

Celesio will only process and use your personal data in order to fill job vacancies, particularly positions within Celesio AG but also those with our subsidiary companies. We will not pass on your personal data to third parties, but will use it solely to carry out the application process.

With the aid of our e-recruiting solution, you can apply directly for positions that are advertised. Instead of making speculative applications, you can register in the talent pool with a user name and password and update your profile at any time. When necessary, we will compare our job vacancies with the unlocked profiles in the talent pool. This will enable us to offer you suitable opportunities within the Celesio Group. You may view, delete, lock or unlock your data at any point.

Should you wish to delete your application data, please use the 'withdraw' function under the 'application menu' which is appears after you log in. Should you wish to cancel your portal account, you may do so after logging in using 'portal access cancel'.
