Celesio sells its joint venture stake to Medco Health Solutions

Celesio AG and Medco Health Solutions, Inc. have mutually agreed to terminate their collaboration on offering services for chronically ill patients effective 30 September 2011. Celesio AG sells its 50 percent share in the Medco Celesio B.V. joint venture, founded in 2010, to Medco Health Solutions, Inc. The two companies agreed to maintain confidentiality regarding the purchase price and other terms of the agreement.
